Active Neuro, the specialist division of Active Care Group, is redefining neurorehabilitation in the UKand we're looking for two passionate Band 6 level Occupational Therapists to join our Nottingham team. You'll work with adults with acquired or traumatic brain injury, neurological conditions, and complex needs, helping them regain independence, confidence, and quality of life.

Our OTs work across NHS, private, and medicolegal pathways, without being limited to short-term programmes. This means you can set long-term, meaningful goals that really matter to patientswhether that's enjoying a morning walk with friends, preparing a favourite meal, returning to a creative hobby, or spending time in the garden independently.

The role:

As a Specialist Occupational Therapist, you will:

Deliver high-quality, evidence-based occupational therapy interventions for patients with complex neurological, polytrauma, and catastrophic injuries.nContribute to the development and improvement of OT services, bringing ideas and innovation to support patient-centred care.nProvide guidance and support to junior staff and students, sharing knowledge and fostering best practice.nParticipate in quality improvement initiatives, outcome measurement, and clinical governance activities.nIncorporate specialist rehabilitation technologies, such as Luna, Exo Motus, and Arm Motus, into daily practice to enhance functional recovery.nKeep people safe from harm and protect their human rights.nAbout you:

We're looking for an experienced, motivated individual who:

Holds HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.nHas experience in neurorehabilitation or complex care, including acquired or traumatic brain injury (ABI/TBI).nDemonstrates strong clinical reasoning and person-centred practice, helping patients achieve meaningful goals.nWorks effectively within a multidisciplinary team, contributing ideas and supporting colleagues.nHas a passion for improving patient care and service development, bringing creativity and innovation to their practice.nSuccessful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS.nWe also want to ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable facilities to participate in job applications or interviews to perform essential job functions.
