Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Scottish Leather Group, based in Bridge of Weir, Glasgow. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and improving manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety within our leather production facilities. Your role will involve analysing current systems, implementing improvements, and collaborating with various departments to optimise operations.

Responsibilities

• Support and improve manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety in leather production facilities.
• Analyse current systems, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement changes.
• Collaborate with multiple departments to optimise operations and productivity.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Manufacturing Engineer or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production optimisation strategies
• Ability to analyse data and identify process improvements
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to manufacturing operations
• Proficiency in CAD or related engineering software is desirable
