Overview

Join Samworth Brothers Supply Chain as an Operations Supervisor and play a key role in delivering chilled and ambient food products across the Southwest. Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, 08:00 to 20:00.

The Opportunity

• Oversee daily transport operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective deliveries.
• Lead and develop a team of drivers, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Ensure full compliance with transport legislation, safety standards, and BRC requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to streamline workflows.
• Step in for the Operations Shift Manager when needed, maintaining seamless operations.
• Champion health and safety, drive continuous improvement, and support strategic initiatives.

The Ideal Candidate

• Proven experience in logistics or supply chain operations.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of transport compliance, safety regulations, and fleet operations.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and IT skills (TMS, Excel, Outlook).
• Flexibility to work shifts, including nights and weekends.
