Overview

Garden Maintenance Supervisor position (permanent) based within the M25. You’ll be communicative, conscientious and experienced in garden maintenance, with enthusiasm to progress horticultural skills. You’ll work on a diverse mix of projects in desirable locations in London and the Home Counties, from landscape designs to high-profile designer projects and private spaces, in both domestic and commercial environments.

Responsibilities

• Help manage garden maintenance for a mix of landscapes – from small gardens to city courtyards, modern roof terraces and large country gardens
• Diagnose and treat problems in plants and keep disease under control
• Work with garden irrigation systems
• Liaise with clients – listen to their needs and ensure satisfaction
• Work efficiently to tight deadlines, while adhering to health and safety and quality procedures
• Arrive promptly for work and keep any appointments you make
• Participate in company events and socials where possible, helping to build relationships with team members

Requirements

• At least 3 years of gardening experience, with 2 years in a team leader or foreman role
• Strong communication skills – ability to provide great customer service and effectively communicate with clients, staff and managers
• Ideally qualified to at least Level 3 or equivalent (e.g. RHS Diploma)
• PA1 / PA6
• Ability to use a range of small machinery
• Full UK clean driving license, with van driving experience
