Overview

Do you have a background in sales and a passion for all things motoring? At Halfords, we don't just sell products - we keep Britain moving. We're looking for a motivated Automotive Sales Specialist to join our team and help customers get the very best from their vehicles. A confident and proactive salesperson, you'll be the link between our stores, autocentres, and mobile experts - driving referrals to ensure our customers receive complete motoring solutions, whether that's tyres, MOTs, servicing, or repairs. Recommending the right solution for the customer is what this role is all about, whether we can fix it in the car park, at our local Autocentre or by arranging for our Halfords Mobile Experts to fix it at the customer's home or work. Brilliant at building relationships, you'll work closely with colleagues in our Autocentre and our Halfords Mobile Expert teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers with a focus on automotive solutions, including tyres, MOTs, servicing, and repairs.

• Act as the liaison between stores, Autocentres, and Halfords Mobile Experts to drive referrals and deliver complete motoring solutions.

• Recommend the right solution for each customer and coordinate the appropriate service delivery location (in-store, Autocentre, or at the customer’s home/work).

• Build and maintain relationships with colleagues in Autocentre and Halfords Mobile Expert teams to provide a seamless customer experience.

• Work toward achieving sales targets while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in a consumer sales environment.
• A keen interest in or experience of working with motoring products / services.
• Great communication skills - able to explain services in simple terms.
• Comfortable working to sales targets.
• Enthusiastic, proactive, and focused on customer satisfaction.
