About Forward NPD

We’re a product development consultancy based in Cambridge’s vibrant innovation hub, working with clients from start-ups to global brands. Our ready-made product development team combines industrial and mechanical design, electronic engineering, and software development — all driven by a passion for tech that delivers real commercial impact.

Since acquiring Wright Design, we’ve rebranded as Forward NPD and expanded our expertise and capacity. Now, we’re looking for a proactive, collaborative Marketing Manager to help us build on this momentum — spreading our message through trade shows, social media, website content, and lead generation campaigns. You’ll join a friendly team passionate about pushing technology forward.

This is an exciting time to join us as we grow our client base and sharpen our focus.

Key responsibilities

  • Update and maintain website content and lead generation materials
  • Write newsletters, blog posts, case studies, press releases, and membership updates
  • Support CRM updates, sales admin, and develop sales collateral
  • Manage email marketing lists and nurture prospects with regular campaigns
  • Monitor campaign performance and report insights to identify new opportunities
  • Craft targeted promotional content for exhibitions and trade shows
  • Work closely with our designer and freelancers to ensure brand consistency across videos, social media, and copy.

What we’re looking for

  • Strong storyteller who can turn technical topics into clear, engaging content that attracts leads
  • Experienced with Monday.com for CRM, and WordPress for websites
  • Comfortable with Microsoft 365 tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Collaborative, organised, with excellent writing and communication skills to maintain brand tone and quality
  • Reliable, able to work independently, knowledgeable of GDPR/PECR, and discreet about sensitive projects.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Google Analytics
  • Passion for technology and a knack for building relationships with innovators
  • Curious about new marketing tools and data-driven approaches to improve engagement.

The Rewards

  • Competitive salary, reflecting your skills and experience
  • Opportunities to develop your marketing skills across exciting technologies and markets
