Main duties of the job The role of the Skills Development Assistant will be a varied role offering the post holder a diverse workload. To assist in the planning and administration of programmes and projects across all NHS organisations in the Yorkshire & Humber area in order to implement the Skills Development strategy for Finance, Procurement and Digital. The post holder will help to increase the capacity and capability of the finance, procurement and digital functions, and create a culture of staff development and continuous life-long learning. The Skills Development Assistant will be required to deliver an efficient and competent level of administration, promoting good customer service and effective working relationships. The post holder will assist with various tasks ranging from booking meetings and venues for events, to creating marketing materials to promote the Skills Development Network. The post holder should have a flexible/adaptable approach to their work in order to meet various deadline and targets. The role will be based at Harrogate Business Centre but there may be the requirement to travel around the Region and nationally. The ability to work from home will also be a requirement, with travel to the office to meet the Skills Development Manager as and when required.
