Job Description

JSHR Hospitality Investment team is seeking an experienced investment professional for the role of Director - Hotel & Leisure. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team focused on the hotel sector, handling a diverse range of assets from major branded hotels and portfolios to single independent properties. This role offers hands-on experience in a premier real estate services firm, with a focus on marketing, complex financial analysis, providing strategic advice, and overseeing hotel property transactions from start to finish.


Key Responsibilities


  • Lead and manage hotel investment sales, acquisitions, and financing across the UK and Europe.
  • Advise a diverse range of clients, including institutional investors, private equity, and high-net-worth individuals, on strategy, pricing, and negotiation.
  • Originate new business opportunities through an established network and deep industry knowledge.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with our hotel management partners for referral business and with additional partners across the franchise networks.
  • Deliver compelling client pitches, detailed investment memorandums, and sophisticated financial modeling.
  • Collaborate with specialists in hotel valuation, operator selection, and asset management to provide a fully integrated client service.
  • Represent the firm at major hospitality conferences and client events.


Qualifications


  • MRICS-qualified (or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience in hotel investment, hospitality capital markets, or a directly related field.
  • A proven and extensive track record in successfully executing complex hotel transactions.
  • Commercially astute with expert financial modeling and strategic advisory skills specific to the hospitality sector.
  • An established and influential network of hotel investors, operators, and industry contacts.
  • Confident and skilled communicator and negotiator with exceptional client-facing abilities.
  • A collaborative leader who thrives in a high-performance, deal-driven environment.
  • Ambitious, proactive, and motivated to drive the business forward.
