WeDo have partnered with a high-growth FinTech scale-up reshaping embedded finance. They’re entering “scale-up” phase and now need two Engineering Managers to add maturity as they scale.
About the Role
This is a hands-off technical leadership role. You’ll join a product-aligned squad and be responsible for owning delivery, guiding architecture, and enabling engineers to do their best work. This role is ideal for someone who has a passion about clean code but whose true strength lies in technical direction, people development and management, and building high-performing teams. You’ll be given space to embed, observe, and understand before driving change. That’s intentional as leadership here is about enablement, not ego.
You’ll lead a team of 6 IC Full Stack Software Engineers. Testing is owned by the Engineers, and Platform is owned by the Platform team. That said, CI/CD pipelines are owned by the team.
