About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and personable Club Manager to lead our team and oversee the day-to-day running of the club. Reporting to the Chair of the Board of Directors, you will work alongside the Course Manager and Club Professional ensuring that the club operates efficiently, professionally and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across administration, professional shop, golf course and finance.
• Manage budgets and monitor finances in collaboration with the Finance Director.
• Ensure smooth administration of competitions, bookings and member communications.
• Maintain effective communication with members and committees.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, contracts and legislative requirements.
• Lead, support and develop staff, carrying out appraisals and maintaining personnel records.
• Promote membership growth and assist in managing the club’s website and social media presence.
• Develop commercial opportunities for the club, including securing new sponsors and encouraging society and visitor bookings.

About You

• Proven management experience.
• Strong financial and administrative skills, with the ability to manage budgets.
• Excellent communication and people management skills.
• Organised, proactive, and confident with IT systems (experience with Club V1 desirable).
• Flexible and willing to work weekends and evenings when required.
