About the Role

As a Physiotherapist Functional Assessor at Maximus, you'll leverage your clinical expertise to assess how disabilities or health conditions impact daily life. You will handle complex cases involving chronic pain, neurological, physical, and mental health conditions. Your compassion and experience will help clients progress in their lives. The role includes a comprehensive 6-week training program, ongoing support, and mentorship.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments via telephone, video, or face-to-face to evaluate the impact of health conditions on daily living
• Prepare Work Capability Assessment (WCA) reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP)
• Enhance your clinical skills through feedback and supervision

Requirements

• Valid HCPC registration number
• Minimum of 1 year broad post-registration experience, NHS experience preferred but not essential
• Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Proficiency in computer software for report writing
