Responsibilities

Join our dynamic team as a Finance Manager and take the reins on financial management. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering monthly management accounts to shed light on financial performance.
  • Assisting accountants in crafting yearly accounts for timely, accurate submissions.
  • Checking and filing quarterly VAT returns, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Developing monthly financial statements, including cash flow, profit & loss, and budget reports.
  • Conducting daily reconciliations of multiple accounts to maintain accuracy.
  • Processing payments, invoices, income, and receipts with precision using Sage.
  • Forecasting budgets accurately for income and expenditure.
  • Establishing professional standards in record-keeping for consistency and compliance.
  • Generating ad hoc reports to provide insightful financial data for decision-making.
  • Actively engaging in budget management and reporting to contribute to financial planning.

Qualifications and Experience

To thrive in this role, you should possess:

  • Proficiency in spreadsheet creation and data organisation, with the ability to generate custom reports.
  • A strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practises.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar bookkeeping role.
  • A proactive, positive, and can-do attitude.
