Role/Responsibilities

As a Senior Software Engineer, you're going to be a key player in our cross-functional team, helping to shape and roll out the vision for the Passfort product. Your focus? Making our Developer Experience and our Platform even better. We're all about being agile, keeping the customer front and centre, and learning as we go.

Here's a sneak peek at what you'll be doing:

1. You'll be core in driving our DevX initiatives from idea to delivery (think roadmaps and strategy).
2. You'll help figure out how to measure if our DevX initiatives are working and keep them focused on results.
3. You'll work with other teams to find out what's bugging them and help us decide what to fix first.
4. You'll be a mentor to the less experienced folks, helping them with the techy and not-so-techy parts of their roles.
5. You'll keep learning, adapting, and suggesting cool new technologies to help us tackle our challenges.
6. You'll be a cheerleader for best practices in engineering and help us get better at what we do.

Qualifications

You're a pro at writing and managing Rust applications.
You're really into the details of cargo and Rust tooling (We're keen to add more static analysis into our Rust CI pipelines, so this is a big plus).
You've built and maintained CI pipelines and automated workflows for Rust codebases before.
You've worked with a team that's all about Agile software processes, data-driven development, and trying new things.
You're a whizz at thinking things through and explaining your ideas to people who aren't techy.
You're good at figuring things out on your own and love to learn and share what you know.
