Talent Acquisition Specialist – Early Careers & Professional Recruitment

Location: Stevenage (Hybrid with travel across the Home Counties and London)

Salary: £35,000-£40,000 + benefits

Full Time, Permanent

Our client is a fast-growing provider within the care and SEND sector, committed to delivering exceptional services to individuals and families. They are now seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to drive early careers recruitment and help build the next generation of professionals through structured training and qualification pathways.

The Role

• Design and deliver recruitment campaigns focused on attracting and selecting entry-level and early careers talent.
• Lead a behavioural-style recruitment approach, ensuring candidates are aligned by values, potential, and long-term development.
• Place successful candidates onto clear career and qualification pathways, supporting the organisation’s “grow our own” approach to building future professionals.
• Recruit across a range of professional roles as needed, applying a generalist approach to sourcing and selection.
• Provide an excellent candidate journey, positioning the organisation as an employer of choice.
• Work closely with managers and L&D teams to align recruitment activity with workforce plans.
• Support wider people and recruitment projects in line with business growth.

About You

• Proven experience in early careers, entry-level, or training and development-focused recruitment.
• Generalist recruitment skills across different functions, with an appetite to learn about new disciplines.
• Experience within the care or SEND sector is highly advantageous, though transferable experience from other people-focused industries is welcome.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage, influence, and support candidates and stakeholders.
• No formal qualification required, though CIPD Level 3, CertRP, or equivalent would be beneficial.
